3. Age-specific rules
For users under 18
- Direct messaging is restricted to age-matched peers and verified adults (parents, coaches).
- No location sharing between users.
- No meeting up with other users arranged privately.
- Public posts are limited to motorsport-relevant content.
Adults interacting with under-18 users must
- Be verified coaches with Motorsport UK safeguarding compliance and DBS clearance, or be a verified parent or guardian of the user.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Report any concerning behaviour from others to the DSL.
4. How we enforce these rules
- We use a combination of user reports, automated detection, and human moderation to identify rule breaches.
- Minor breach: warning and content removal.
- Repeated breaches: feature restrictions (for example, messaging suspended).
- Serious breach: temporary account suspension.
- Severe breach or pattern of behaviour: permanent ban.
- Illegal content: immediate removal, account termination, and reporting to authorities where required.
- For child safety concerns, our response prioritises safety and may escalate immediately to permanent action and external reporting.
5. Reporting rule breaches
- Every piece of content and every profile has a report button. Reports are acknowledged within 24 hours, reviewed within 72 hours (faster for child safety concerns), and actioned with content removal, warnings, or account action where appropriate.
- Serious concerns should be reported to support@myracingpath.com directly.
6. Appeals
- If you believe our enforcement action was wrong, you can appeal.
- Send appeals to support@myracingpath.com within 30 days of the action. Include the action, your reasoning, and any context we should consider.
- Appeals are reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision. We respond within 14 days.
- EU users may use out-of-court dispute settlement under DSA Art. 21.
7. What we do with reported content
- Reports of illegal content may be reported to authorities as legally required.
- Reports of child safety concerns are escalated to our DSL immediately.
- Reports are kept confidential. We do not reveal reporter identity to the reported user except where legally required.
8. Changes to these Guidelines
- We update these Guidelines when needed. Significant changes are notified in-app with 30 days' notice where possible.
- Continued use of MyRacingPath after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
